Grease continues to be one of my favorite musicals, as well as just an all-around good movie. The two main characters, Sandra Dee and Danny meet each other during the summer before their senior year. They fall in love and remember each other when they come back to school, even telling their friends about each other. The next fall, Sandra moves from Australia to the U.S., only to find out that she coincidentally picks the same school that Danny goes to. They run into each other and later find that they belong to each other. This movie also shows a pretty good portrayal of high school teens and the things that go on during that time of life. This movie is lots of fun and will have you dancing and singing along!!

I first saw this movie the summer I was 11. I saw it about 7 times in the theater. At that time, that was a lot! I completely fell in love with it. The music and lyrics are memorable and entertaining. I still get chills when I hear the title song "Grease" and "Summer Lovin" I have seen the movie over 30 times and I am still not sick of it! John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John were perfectly cast. Not only do I watch it now for entertainment but also because it brings me back to a time in my life when I was carefree and full of great expectations for life!

Despite the fact 'Grease' is far from authentic or 'realistic' in its telling of the 50's teenage experience, not least of all for its casting actors in their 20's to 30's to portray the teens in high school, it's still the most damned fun of any teen/high school movie, musical or not, that I've ever seen! Comparing it to the likes of the recent 'Hairspray' (the musical) is not kind to the latter. 'Grease' is pure fun, pure camp, and purely adolescent in all the right ways. The fact that after nearly 30 years, and probably as many viewings, I can still pick out silly side details going on during the scenes is a small example of the genious of this production. Bravo! to all involved for so many hours of enjoyment over the years!

This movie uis my favorite movie. It is so ful of muic dance friends love and of course fun. This is also awesome because I think John Travolta was a tomolie!Whoa! It is so great. I dont know why but when I watch it I get thins wonderful feeling and it makes me happy or want to dance. I watched this when I was like 4 and I thought it was good and though out the years my favorite movie was Van Helsing but this Easter I got it and it has blown Van Helsing away. Grease is my favorite movie now and usualy my favorite movie doesn't change. All the songs are just perfect they just fit right in to place and the actoras could not be better. Danny is perfect with John Travolta. Sandy is perfect with Olivia Newton-John. Everyone could not hve a better person for each character. I could not imagine Grease with a different actor for anyone in it. This is a have to see kind of movie!

WOW!!! this movie is awesome!!! Although cheesy at times, Grease is a movie jumping with fun, music, and romance. The relationship between Sandy and Danny is so cute, i fell in love with the movie at once. And boy can John Travolta dance!!! The songs from grease cannot be overlooked, they are all extremely catchy and VERY fun to dance to!!! From "we go together" to "summer nights" to "greased lightning", they all create an exciting and overall fun effect!!! So the next time you are wondering what to rent as you pull into blockbuster, remember these two words: SEE GREASE!!!

This movie rocks! It has the greatest songs ever. The cast is wonderful especially John Travolta! My favourite part is the end of course where Sandy comes out wearing her leather suit. I love it because Dannys face just drops and then they start singing. I love every single song just as much as each other! My favourite character is Danny because he is so cool and laid-back. I love this movie so much that i have seen it about a million times so now i can sing and speak every single word of the whole film.

The classic feel good musical of all time. It is better to be cool...This is a great film that reminds me of many events that happened from time to time in high school. Facing the pressure of growing up and discovering yourself. They did this in not to much of a serious of a way, but enough to give the story more sentimentality without going overboard. The dance competition was fantastic...all the litte things happening in the 10 minute event was sure fun to watch. I surely could not help but to practice the hand jive during this scene. Of course, machoism is all over this film. Guy vs guy, girl vs girl, and of course the good guy (depending on view) wins. Actually, in this film everyone wins in the end. Most of all the viewing audience. This is one of my 5 favorite films of all time. I have watched it at least 50 times and look forward to the next.
